What areas do you service?
No Snow provides service to all of Stratford, St. Marys, and Milverton.
Do you offer one-time or monthly snow removal services or only for the whole season?
We do not provide one-time services. Instead, we offer full-season service from November 1st to April 15th. Yes, that's right - if it snows on April 15th to an accumulation of 5 cm or more, we will be there!
Do you have a seasonal snowfall limit?
Yes, we do - but it's set at an extremely high amount: 300 cm (10 ft). For context, we hadn't come close to that in over 20 years. The clause is in place as a safeguard in case of a once-in-a-lifetime winter, to ensure our business can continue operating sustainably.
During the 2024/2025 season, we actually hit this threshold for the first time in decades. Even so, we did not apply the surcharge, honoring our commitment to our clients.

Do you offer walkway shoveling?
Yes, we do - though availability is very limited. Unlike our nearly 20 tractor routes, we only run 4-5 dedicated shoveling routes each season. Because of this, the service typically sells out well before November.
Our shoveling crews are separate from driveway operators and will visit at a different time than your driveway service. This ensures safe, thorough clearing for both.

Do you apply salt or sand on the driveway?
Yes, we now offer ice melt services as an optional add-on for residential clients. Our dedicated salt truck can treat your driveway before and after snowfalls, ahead of ice storms, or during slippery conditions.
We also provide a bucket service with unlimited refills, so you'll always have ice melt on hand for walkways, steps, and other high-traffic areas.
If you choose not to opt into these services, it remains the homeowner's responsibility to apply salt or sand as needed. Please note, we are not responsible for any slip-and-fall incidents on a customer's property.

Can I leave my car in my driveway?
Yes! we kindly ask that you park them as close to your house as you can. This helps us maximize the space our tractors can clear. Rest assured, we always maintain a gap between our tractors and your vehicle(s) to prevent any damage during our servicing. With that said, we will always send an pre service alert out during any daytime snow operations, so you can move your car at the time of snow operations.
When are the driveway markers installed and removed?
Our driveway markers start going up in late-October and are removed after April 15th. Please do not throw the markers away, as they can be reused.
How close do you get to my garage door, house, or parked car?
To safely service your property, our operators are trained to clear within 6\" to 12\" of driveway markers and 12\" to 24\" of parked vehicles and/or buildings, including garage doors and building overhangs.
Is your equipment safe to use on my driveway?
YES. The tractor and blower will not crack your asphalt or interlocking stone. Although it looks big and heavy, the machine's weight is evenly distributed over the surface area of its large tires. More weight per square inch is being applied by your own car than our tractors! Out of all of the equipment available on the market today, the snowblower is the more "interlock-friendly" Option.
Please do note: If your driveway has an uneven surface, minor scratching or discolouration may occur; however, equipping our blowers with Tivar, and Rubber blades has further reduced the risk of this happening. We are not held liable for any minor scratches, gouges, or scrapes.

Will your equipment scrape down to the pavement?
The short answer is, Yes, and No.
The long answer is.
The edge on our snowblowers pull most of the snow off the surface of your driveway but will not necessarily clear it right to the bare surface. While we use Viper Edges (which we are the only ones in the area able to use them) the amount of snow left is significantly less than a traditional snowblower. Depending on the surface and the nature of the snow, there may be times when will leave a thin layer of snow on it, much like our city side streets do after they've been plowed. It depends on many factors such as condition of driveway, grade, high/low points. etc.

Does your equipment make a lot of noise?
Our residential snow removal equipment is actually less noisy than a walk-behind snowblower! We are typically in and out of your driveway in under 2 minutes, minimizing the disturbance to you and your neighbours.
What about water valves in my driveway?
It is the responsibility of the home owner to make sure that if any water valve caps are protruding they arrange to have those lowered.
You will need to request that they send a service technician (Water Dept.) to lower the pipe and cap below grade.
If the cap is not flush with the level of the driveway it could get blown onto the lawn! Please make sure that the city takes care of this in advance of the first snow. Otherwise, once snow arrives and covers the surface, city may charge you for repairs in the spring.
